Postgraduate Candidates who possess qualifications mentioned below may attend the walk in interview with all the original certificates, including caste status and recent passport size photograph for the following posts under a DST funded Project entitled “Identification and characterization of isoforms of immune regulatory molecules, serpin and defensin of the filarial vector mosquito,
Culex quinquefasciatus”
. The selected candidate will be appointed initially for a period of one year and will be extended upto two years depending upon his/her performance and availability of funds.Candidates who wish to appear for the interview can download the application format given in the Web Site of Vector Control Research Centre, Puducherry. Duly filled in application along with the copies of certificate should be submitted at the time of interview. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or bringing political or other outside influence with regard to selection shall be a disqualification and such candidates will not be entertained. Eligibility: For SRF: Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Animal Science
/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology with two years research experience in molecular biology/ proteomics/ parasitology/ tissue culture/immunology. NET qualified candidates are preferred.
For JRF: Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Animal Sciences/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology with NET qualified.
