
Study Abroad Scholarship Applicants will be asked to sign an undertaking that they agree to the Selection Committee received a copy of criminal record of any conviction which is owned by the Wanganui Computer Centre (or its successor). This is to ensure that the recipient has not been found guilty of a crime that is not consistent with upholding the law. Study Abroad Scholarship Applicants are required to sign the following statement: "If selected as a finalist for this award, I authorize release of my criminal record from the Wanganui Computer Centre to the Selection Committee, to ensure I meet the criteria for this scholarship. I understand that all these details will check the records will remain confidential to the members of the Selection Committee and no copies of this material will be maintained at each file held by the University or in connection with this scholarship.
Additional Information:
* The University of Auckland Council is not obliged to make an award if in any year there are no candidates of sufficient merit.
* The NZ Police will not restrict the publication or research results by the recipient of a scholarship or their research team. However, the NZ Police would expect a copy of the research and be able to use it to further their work.
